Documentary research. PHHP encourages documentary research and members from local societies are currently involved in transcribing copies from the Local and National Archive, the results of which will be made available at the Office. Individuals or members from Local History who are interested in being involved are welcome to attend.   Documentary - work in Progress Ongoing research into the copperas and alum industries, which date from the 16th century. Extracting copies of the Poole Port Books provides much additional information not directly linked to these industries and further analysis of trade and shipping needs to be undertaken.
