Features possibly of Roman date have been reported.   A shoreline survey is being undertaken with the agreement of the Rempstone Estate. Tenants and other land users need to be kept advised of any visit.   Survey of the channels  which have historically never been dredged.  Investigate the availability of water borne survey equipment. Equipment envisaged would include side scan sonar subbottom profiler, proton magnetometer.
